How to Compete

Season Format

  • AWC Cups: These are 3v3 Arena competitions hosted online by Blizzard that are open to Arena teams of any skill level from the Americas and Europe. Each AWC Cup rewards $20,000 USD in prizing as well as regional bragging rights and AWC Points to advance to the next stage of the competition.
  • There are 4 AWC Cups per Arena Season, head over to the GameBattles home page to sign up for the next Arena Cup in your region!
  • AWC Gauntlet: After the conclusion of the AWC Cups, the top 8 teams per region on AWC Points advance to the next stage of the competition. The top 3 teams from each region automatically advance to the AWC Season Finals, with teams finishing 4th through 8th advancing to the new AWC Gauntlet. The AWC Gauntlet is a single elimination competition which will determine the last team to advance to the AWC Season Finals!
  • AWC Season Finals: The eight best teams from the Americas and Europe – four from each region – will converge for the AWC Season Finals. Here teams will compete for $300,000 USD in prizing and the title of AWC Champions!

If you think your team has what it takes to compete, then head over to the GameBattles home page to sign up for the next Arena Cup in your region!
